This maintenance is included routine maintenance, maintenances to remove typical deficiencies by PSC or FSC, ISM code, ISPS Code, MLC convention, machinery maintenance as per instruction book.

There are 3 type maintenance:

1-Plan maintenance or preventive maintenance

2-Break down maintenance

3-Condition monitoring maintenance

As per nature of maritime industry plan maintenance or preventive maintenance is recommended.

A well plan maintenance to be ensures that all onboard systems, including main engine, propulsion system, diesel generator, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, crane, Boiler, sewage system, OWS, piping system, ballast system, navigation equipment’s, winches, windlass, hatch cover, accommodation are functioning optimally. This minimizes the risk of breakdowns, disruptions to services, or inconveniences for cargo owner.
